InfoGoRound.com Article-Content
Usage Rules
By utilizing IGR content you are signifying that you have read
and agreed to the following...
1. You cannot use IGR article content for purposes that could be
deemed competitive with InfoGoRound.com, such as an article or
content distribution service (judged at our sole discretion). When
in doubt, ask us first.
2. You cannot offer IGR article content with "private label" rights.
This means you cannot grant others the right to claim or imply
authorship to articles or content, or allow others to modify, add
to, or change articles and content obtained from IGR. Only YOU as an
IGR member have private label privileges.
Example # 1. Creating a resource where you provide IGR
articles in generic form to others, and allow them to attach THEIR
resource boxes or author bylines would NOT be allowed.
Example # 2. Creating content based web-sites using IGR
article content is perfectly acceptable, but you cannot create such
sites for the purpose of selling or distributing them to others.
Example # 3. You may grant others the right to reprint
articles that originated from IGR, but only with your
resource box attached (including your web-site link and/or contact
info) to each or any article used. You should clearly specify that
users must reprint such articles 'as is' with your resource box
attached.
Example # 4. You may certainly create information products
(such as digital books, training courses, special reports, etc.) by "compiling" IGR article content. Further, you may grant others
the right to reprint or resell such products if you so desire. However, you absolutely cannot allow others the right to
claim or imply authorship; nor modify, add on to, or in any way
change the content within any product that originated in whole or in
part from IGR content. One exception applies: You
may allow others to "brand" your product content with their
affiliate URL(s) to your web-site(s) only (this exception
applies to IGR members who run their own affiliate programs).
3. You cannot claim copyright to IGR article content unless you
were to substantially rewrite it, such that the newly rewritten work
has been changed sufficiently enough to satisfy legal requirements
allowing you to claim copyright.
4. When utilizing IGR article content you cannot reference (name)
the original article author(s) or attach the original author’s name
to the content.
5. IGR content cannot be incorporated into (or used in
conjunction with) any RSS related software/service, syndication
software, content builder, or web-site/web page building software or
service of any kind without special permission from IGR. (Contact
IGR if you're interested in licensing IGR content for such a
purpose.)
6. You cannot use IGR articles or content to compile any
multi-category article directory that caters to marketers and
publishers looking for content to use (see Rule # 1).
However, you may create an "article archive" (named as such)
consisting of related (same category) articles (no more than one category per domain, and no inter-linking). You may allow
others to reprint such articles as long as you adhere to Rules # 1
and # 2 above, and provided your resource box remains
attached to each article.
7. You agree not to place any IGR content or articles on a
website that also contains illegal content, or on a website
containing warez or sexually explicit material.
8. You agree not to distribute or advertise any IGR content using
unsolicited email or unsolicited faxes.
9. You must be a paid member to use any IGR content. If your
membership is cancelled you can no longer make use of, modify,
display, distribute, or sell any content provided by IGR.
Optional One-Time License Fee. If you cancel your membership but
want to continue to use previously downloaded content, you can pay a
one-time license fee of $67.00. This fee allows you to continue use
of previously downloaded content as if you were a current IGR
member. Your license remains subject to the previous Article-Content
Usage Rules.
Note: We recommend that you maintain IGR membership as a
permanent part of your business model as you would web hosting,
merchant services, etc.
10. You agree and understand that IGR is a distributor of content
and articles created by others, and is not responsible for what is
included in that content or articles.
Note: Please allow 48 hours following the
submission of any brand new IGR article before utilizing it
(refer to the article "Publish Date"). IGR scans all newly
published articles within 48 hours of submission to make sure they
meet our Writing Requirements (proper grammar, originality, etc.).
